0.03 pixel response time no matter what connection type you use. The hz maybe be another question. Some devices may reduce to 120hz or 144hz if display port is not used. This is not a fact. More research may be needed as hdm 2.1 a or b may have different results.

We understand your question about the 0.03ms response time and whether it is exclusive to a DisplayPort connection at 240Hz or if it can also be achieved with HDMI 2.1 on the PS5. The 0.03ms response time (GtG) is supported at 240Hz on both DisplayPort and HDMI 2.1. So, you can enjoy the same ultra-fast response time when connecting your PS5 via HDMI 2.1, as long as the monitor is set to the 240Hz refresh rate. If you're setting it up on your PS5, ensure that the HDMI cable you're using is capable of supporting HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, as this will allow you to fully leverage the high refresh rate and response time. If you need assistance setting it up or have any other questions, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport.
