Depending on the title you should be good. I'm using mine for Assetto Corsa with 3080 and getting 240 locked. Main advantage in this model is 3440p UW over DQHD/4k, you'd need 4080/90 to hit 240fps DQHD/4k.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a laptop with a 3070ti and it runs Rocket League on this monitor at around 360-400 fps It will mainly depend on what games you're trying to play and how the games are optimized. Some games are CPU bound, where the graphics card isn't being fully utilized because it's waiting on the CPU for frames to render. With CPU bound games, you can usually increase graphics settings and resolution without lowering your framerate. If you press Ctrl-shift-escape to open task manager and go to the performance tab, you will see CPU and GPU utilization. Set your game to run unlimited FPS and tab out to the task manager, and see if the GPU is hitting 100% 3d utilization. If it is, you will likely have lower framerates in that game with a higher resolution monitor. You can always play at lower resolution to get higher framerates in that situation. Even at lower framerates this monitor is great. It supports variable refresh, so if you do get less than 260hz the monitor can match refresh rates with the game so you won't get any screen tearing.
