We have a Velop with 2 nodes and it cover our 3400 square feet with about 6 devices running at same time.

I don't think that all nodes can be connected directly to the Internet. There is a master which connects, and the slave nodes mesh into the master. Yes, mesh Wi-Fi definitely will improve the Wi-Fi coverage.

Yes, Gokari. You can connect all nodes directly to the router as long as they are in bridge mode. However, we recommend that you only connect one node to the router and have the other nodes be connected wirelessly to the first node to extend and enhance your existing network.
