Having both the Gen 4 and Gen 5 iPad Pro 12.9, I can confirm this works on both.

Hi, this case is designed for the iPad Pro 5th generation. While the 4th generation is a similar size the depth of the 4th generation iPad is less than the 5th generation so the iPad may not be secure in the case. In addition the buttons, camera, and other ports on the 4th generation iPad may not line up properly.

It fits my 4th gen and the cutouts and buttons all work. Just a a tiny bit loose but hardly noticeable. The M1 (5th gen) is a bit thicker than the 4th gen.

Yes, please see my message to Anne about the 3rd Gen iPad Pro. It works with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Gen iPad Pro models. The only external difference between the 3rd and 4th Gen iPad Pro is the camera module. In fact, the 5th Gen iPad Pro uses the same form factor, it just happens to be .5mm thicker.

Its specifically designed for the fifth generation and the difference between last years model and the new one is the new touch anywhere trackpad that is far more sensitive and super smooth. Last years trackpad only worked when you pressed near the bottom of the trackpad. They fixed that with new one.
