- Answer Desk pad is just shy of 12" in depth and just shy of 27" in width. Keyboard and mouse sit on it, leaving a lot of room to move the mouse around.

QuestionWould this mat be appropriate for setting my laptop on, on top of a mahogany desk? The features mention it holding a keyboard, mouse etc but I.d like to know if it would also be fine to set a laptop on it. Thank you!

- Answer Yes, you coulld place your laptop on it and it won't slide anywhere and then use the mat for your mouse pad too. I believe my Logitech mat actually enchances the looks of my work spece. A very worthy purchase and addition to your desk space, Bev.

- Answer No way I would even try. Maybe wipe it down with a damp towel. I don't think I would use detergent on it.
