How do you change the battery? null

It seems rather simple and straightforward. You will need a small Philips head screwdriver. Go to U Tube and select any one of a number video lessons on how to do it. Even though I do not need to change my battery, I went through the motions and succeeded in the whole process in less than five minutes.

The battery is rechargeable, which last for years. No change to my knowledge.

Has charging cradle. Batteries are rechargeable when remote is placed in cradle.

It is a rechargeable battery. You place it on a charging base. The device itself is sealed, so don't think you can change the batteries out once they stop being rechargeable.
