A:AnswerHello Jane! The MX Keys Wireless for Mac will work on a laptop with Windows 10 no problem, just know that the keyboard itself only shows the Mac layout on the keys (i.e. it doesn't show the Windows, Alt, FN, Menu, etc., buttons), and comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable instead of the USB-C to USB-A that comes with the regular MX Keys, so make sure your have a USB-C port to charge it up.
A:AnswerThe USB-C port is only for charging. You can use any USB-C charger, like the ones on some iPhones or iPads. You can also get an USB-C to USB-A cable at BestBuy or elsewhere.
All Macs in the past few years have USB-C ports.
A:AnswerHello. The Delete key is, in fact, the same as the Backspace key on Windows computers. The smaller one (by the fn key) is the same as the DEL on a Windows keyboard... it deletes what is in front of it.
A:AnswerYes, the MX Keys can be used with any Logitech mouse. The ideal combo is with a Logitech Flow Enabled mouse if you would like to "Flow" between multiple computers.
A:AnswerHello, although the MX Keys comes with a USB dongle, you don't have to use it if you have a Bluetooth compatible device. MX Keys allows you to connect both ways and up to 3 devices. You'll be able to connect to your macbook pro without using the dongle and connecting via Bluetooth. Thank you for your question, have a great day. -Ricky from Logitech.
A:AnswerHello! If by simultaneously, you mean having the MX Keys Full-size Wireless Bluetooth Membrane Keyboard for Mac with Smart Illumination connected to your Mac in example, and then having the letters you type show up on both your Mac and your PC at the same time, that won't work unfortunately, as you need to choose which device the Keyboard is connected to with one of the 3 Easy-Switch keys located above the Insert/home/Page Up keys. On the other hand, we do have a feature called Logitech Flow that allows you to go seamlessly from one computer to the next (i.e from your Mac to your PC) without having to change paired devices. That will be done with the help of the Logitech Options (or Options+) software, which can be downloaded here: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/software/options.html. You can also see a list of which mice/keyboards work with that feature on that same page. This will allow you to "flow" between computers more easily, but you still won't see the letters you type show up on both computers though. - Mathieu from Logitech
A:AnswerNo, if the room is too bright the keyboard will tell you so with a message on the screen. Also keeping it on all the time would kill the battery.
A:AnswerIf you connect via Bluetooth, then no because your Mac won’t connect to Bluetooth devices at that point in the boot process. If you use the RF connection (i.e. the USB dongle) then as far as your Mac is concerned it’s a plug-in USB keyboard and it can be used to send boot commands by holding down certain keys or key combinations during boot.
Note that the USB port on the MX Keys for Mac keyboard is for charging ONLY, it does not carry data. The keyboard sends data to the Mac via Bluetooth or RF only, not the cable.
