Of course, you'd still have to physically click your mouse buttons, but your fingers would be in a more relaxed posture (think of it like a handshake) so it should definitely help in the long run.

It should. The idea behind the design is to keep your wrist in a more natural position. That said, buttons are buttons, so if you need click on a lot of stuff, it may not be that beneficial. Probably worth trying?

Yes, it's a more natural position (like shaking hands). Does not help with wrist pain though.

It might help because your hand is in a more natural position, so if the pain is due to your hand position, I'd think so.

I believe it will. Though if you have a large hand it may be a bit small. This mouse comes in as a bit less comfortable than the MS Sculpt (softball sized) mouse. No hand pain since switching either.
