QuestionWhy is the top ofthe dryer sloped forward? The machine is levelled to the floor but the top slopes making it very inconvenient to put anything on top of the dryer.

- Answer Horrible design- dropped the detergent on the floor! (Thankfully not the bleach)- as is the locking top and cannot add cloths without the whole tub emptying first!- MAYTAG- what the heck are you thinking!

- Answer Yes, but you'll need to take the comforter out half way through the cycle and unfold and check for wet areas. Adjust the damp areas on the outside of comforter and continue drying.

QuestionHow much depth do you need to fit this dryer in a space. I see that the depth is 28", but how much more space do you need for the vent tube and cords? Our space is limited, and I think the washer they suggested would work, but this dryer may not fit.

- Answer Hello Gene. The Sanitize cycle will provide an Extended high-heat drying cycle intended to help sanitize items such as bedding, towels, and baby wear. This cycle is not recommended for all fabrics. For best results, run cycle to completion, do not interrupt.

QuestionI am unhappy with my dryer because it takes forever to dry. I was excited to have a nice, big drum, but I have to dry every load on high heat and twice before the clothes are dry. Is this usual, or does my dryer have a problem?

- Answer I'm having to run the dyer at least twice because it is not completely drying them. Very disappointed! We have already made sure the vent line was cleaned out and that all the settings are correct!

QuestionI just got this item and was wondering if when you put it in sensor dry that the things I dry comes out feeling not warm like it was drying. I guess I am used to clothes being hot when they come out of the dryer.

- Answer Make sure you adjust the temperature to medium or high setting. Also when using sensor dry you are going to want to make sure it is set on "More Dry" instead the energy saving mode.
