Even though I haven't had time to really explore my new Go 2, it can be used as a smaller laptop for business/office tasks. You will probably want to switch to full Widows 10 in that case if you do purchase one. It comes with a more basic version of Windows should one want to use it as just a fun/recreational tablet. Then you could add Windows Office apps as you might require. You can utilize a micro SD card should you need more storage capacity. Sorry it took some time to answer back!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ABSOLUTELY! That's the beauty of the surface go. Tablet with fully functional windows. If you intend to use it as an alternative to full laptop, I recommend nothing less than 8gb of ram and 128 SSD. I wish I had feedback for you on the 4g lte functionality/internet stability, but I have not yet began a mobile device plan for it with my wireless carrier. But to answer your question, YES. 100% windows device on your tablet. I can't tell any difference between my surface go2 and my old laptop. If considering surafce pro, you might as well consider a laptop as well. The surfaces with extra pc power get expensive fast. I found an excellent condition open box version of the surface go 2 with 4g lte for 530. Happy hunting!
