You cannot add any RAM to the Surface pro 4. You have to remove the back casing in order to do so and by doing that, you will be voiding the warranty. If you are looking for an everyday device with not so heavy applications, 4GB is sufficient. If you planning to run heavy applications/games, then I would recommend the 8GB model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Adding a microSD card will increase your storage space, but it will not add RAM. The RAM is fixed when you buy it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Opening a surface is very risky and I would trust only Microsoft to do it so no.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately Microsoft only has the 8GB available on the Intel Core i5, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM model. So in order to get 8GB of RAM, you basically have to also get extra SSD space. Which means you'll end up paying $200-$300 extra just to get more RAM. But on the plus side you'll also gain more storage space. Even if you take it to a computer repair shop to add extra RAM, it will cost you $200-$300 for labor and hardware. Not to mention you'll be risking voiding your warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no u cannot it is fixed unless u can weld raw ram to board. it means you cannot just ram card in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Adding a SD card will not add RAM to the Surface device, rather it increases the storage for adding applicationS, photos etc... The RAM itself is soldered on so once you buy the Surface device, you can't upgrade the RAM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately the RAM is soldered and there's no additional slots for expansion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no, go buy 8gb version
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a spot in the back of the tablet to insert a micro sD card for ram. That is how you add ram to any model of the surface pro 4.
