• I think the Matte texture causes the grip to feel a little strange but it's nothing grip textures from Amazon can't fix but I don't think it's a serious issue.

• Grip is about the same... it does have a ridged feel on the back side of the controller however that does make it seem to have a little more grip

• It’s got a bit of a plastic feel maybe a little better but not much difference
