Many of the newer TV's on the market are being made with no coaxial port and/or no digital tuner. This trend is because many people have discovered the joys of streaming content either through their new "smart" TV or using a streaming device so who needs a coaxial port or digital tuner? Well...people that use antennas do! All's not lost. In order to use a TV missing the needed elements you can purchase a digital converter box. This allows you to connect your antenna to the television AND they have built in tuners also. A digital converter box connects to your TV via HDMI or other means (make sure you know which connection you need before you buy) and allows the TV to receive digital TV signals. A digital converter box is a one-time purchase with no monthly fees. One converter box is necessary for every TV that doesn't have a built-in digital tuner and that receives its signal over the air with an antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does come with a USB adapter to either plug directly into the TV monitor or in the case of my Samsung 4k TV the TV has a multi HDMI connection hub box that also has a USB port as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need to connect through a receiver equipped with a digital coax. An analog coax would need a "cable box" to pick up the digital airwaves. The reciever would be controlling the tv and speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usb powers the antenna. Its an amplified antenna. If you don't have a coax connection on your tv then it won't work. You probably have a vizio. Which isn't a tv. It's a display.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need a coax connection for this antenna to work. Most TV's made since the last 20 years or so do have a coax connector somewhere, you may need to look a little more closely. That said, if you still lack the coax connector on the TV, you might try an adapter such as a Coax to RCA adapter. That will convert the coax signal from the antenna to an RCA signal which nearly all TV's support. Best of luck!
