QuestionI have an IPad mini and am looking for a charger that extends the charge whn I am away from home, the Apple store recommended Mophie brandwhich one of the mophies will handle the ipad mini?

- Answer I travel a lot with my work and use my iPad mini. I use the Mophie - Juice Pack Powerstation XL as my charger. I can fully charge my iPad, and iPhone at least 7 times before it runs low. I tend to run both down to 20% and the Powerstation has been able to handle charging both quickly. I think you will be very happy with this item! Downside is the Powerstation tends to be a little bulky and heavy but it goes into my laptop bag so no worries.

- Answer It comes with a usb cord but you'll still need to connect it to a plug so you can then plug it into an electrical outlet to charge it.

- Answer See package. It states on the package it is compatible with Smartphones, tablets and other USB devices. I charge my iPhone and iPad with this device. The package terms are most likely categorically general terms to avoid providing an exhaustive list of every model of cellphones, tablets, and other USB devices on the market (that this company does not make). I hope this helps you to decide.

- Answer No, this is meant for phones and tablets. A laptop requires more power, and a different adaptor to charge from than USB. This will not charge a Macbook Pro

- Answer Mophie XL powerstation comes with its own USB cord for charging. However, you will need to connect the Mophie USB cord to something like an Apple 12W Power charger (comes with iPad) to connect to a power outlet to recharge the powerstation XL.

- Answer The powerstation XL is meant to charge up many different mobile devices, as well as tablets. With the size of the battery in the laptop being so much larger than the battery in the powerstation XL, they are not compatible for charging the laptop. You can certainly charge the XL from your laptop, though. Thanks for your interest in mophie.
