ips LCD vs WQHD, which is better for gaming? null

IPS LCD is the type of panel it is. It could be IPS, VA, or OLED, basically, and LCD or LED. There are further sub-types coming, but if you can understand those three types, you'll be in good shape. OLED is best for graphics, movies & gaming, but is terrible if you will also be using the panel for reading & productivity. IPS is the best compromise technology, good for both graphos and productivity & reading. WQHD refers to something else entirely- the resolution. QHD is basically 4x 720p. WQHD is a wider distribution of QHD resolution. Stay curious.

It’s preference but I’d def go with WQHD.
