Yes you can just get hot water from the machine. But, if you want a lot of hot water, you'll have to hit the brew button several times to keep pumping out hot water to the quantity you want.

Yes but the serving size is small. It is about 3.7 oz / 110 ml unless the machine is reprogrammed to go up to 5.1 oz / 150 ml.

Yes. You can get just water. If you do not insert the Nespresso capsule and hot the button, you will get water only. However. If you just made coffee prior, your hot water will contain coffee residue. Just run it a couple of times and you will have good hot water, ready for a nice cup of tea.

Yes, just don't put a pod into the machine. I would run water through a couple of times to remove any espresso residue in the lines.

Hi Donna, because this is a space saving model it does not have a dedicated hot water spout attached.That being said if the machine is clean you can run this to get hot water and the use it for tea or what ever you needs are for the hot water. Just run a cup through throw it and then it should be ready to go. Best of luck.
