Are the audio specs as good as the Google Home Max. I would expect the Nest Hub Max to be lighter and not equal to the full Google Home Max quality. I just purchased the Google Home Max and haven't actually heard it yet as it'll be delivered tomorrow. null

Google Home Max: dual 4.5" woofers and two tweeters. 
Nest Hub Max: Only one 3" Woofer.

David, the sound quality is unbelievable with the Nest Hub Max. I was told it is MUCH, MUCH better than the Google Home Max, but I can't address the comparison personally. The Nest Hub Max has 2 speakers on the front and a subwoofer in the rear. My friends that have come over and listened to music on it have been absolutely blown away by how good it sounds.

According to reviews I have seen of the Nest Hub Max, the answer is no. The called out differences are bass levels, volume and adaptive "smart sound".

No, this will not sound nearly as good as the Max. Better speakers have bigger magnets driving them and will weight more.
