Yes, it can be used with AT&T fiber. We gave it a different network name from the AT&T wi-fi modem and now connect wireless devices to it. We positioned one device in the front of the house and one in the back which eliminated poor reception spots. Not sure about the purported 200 devices supported as we only have approximately 30.

You just have to turn off the wifi from the modem/router combo they give you and then plug the nest wifi router into one of the ethernet ports on the back of the modem/router. It works great even through multiple walls. 200 devices is possible so long as they are all connected wirelessly. It would just strain the network speed for each device to a crawl. Hope this helps
