A:AnswerSadly, the stores apparently have no "control" over this. Nintendo decides what to send out and how many. Some stores receive only consoles while others get both. In either case, the number of available controllers sent to just about any store has been significantly less than the number of consoles.
A:AnswerYes. Well in my case yes. I went to my local BB and they had exactly 3. I picked 1 up. Then the site a few days later had them for sale again. Told my sister who wanted one and she was able to purchase 1 as well. But the shipping was delayed, but still went out 4 days later with tracking. Nintendo said they were going to manufacture this and the console until the end of 2018 so supply with slowly trickle in. I recommend to just be patient and not to buy from resellers at a ridiculous price.
