Bad news, Mimi. Yes, they renew you at the higher price. You can buy it on sale every year, but then they automatically renew you each year. You can go into your My. Norton account and cancel every year, and then buy it on sale again. They make it aggravating, don't they? You might just want to use Windows Defender, which is free with Windows 10, and is about as good as Norton 360, according to reviews.
