they actually seem to be the only company doing something to combat scalpers. the last drop they had i believe was on 10/19/22 you were put in a que to buy the product and you were only allowed to ship to store and pick it up in person

Whatever BB is doing it is NOT keeping these cards from scalpers, they are all over eBay for $2100-$2500. SO FRUSTRATING!

Make a preorder system or AT LEAST a functional notification system to give me a few minutes warning before new stock goes on sale. They only come up as available a few times a week it seems and they sell out pretty close to instantly!

If they did in-person sales then they would have to be shipped to the store where there is a risk of an employee potentially buying it for themself. No matter how many restrictions they put in place at each store, they still can't keep an employee from tipping off a friend. To keep employees honest and give you a better chance, it has to be online. That's why.

While i feel they need to do something about the bots and scalpers (and that they could if they really wanted to) i don't think limiting buying a founders edition to only people who can make it to a store in person is fixing the problem.

Not everyone has the luxury, privilege or ability to make it to a physical store that is why online shopping has become such a huge industry and given access to goods and services that were once out of reach of many in more rural areas.
