Yes you can use a Telcel sim from Mexico, Telcel Mexico is owned by America Movil , in the USA a mnvo Telcel USA roams off of T-Mobile, however Telcel Mexico roams off of the big 3 Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile depending who has the reliable signal. I have a Telcel Mexico sim and in some parts in San Francisco I roamed off of AT&T in concord California I hit Verizon, and Sacramento I locked into T-Mobile

Yes .Telcel is tmobile and metro type network .Its unlocked and i used this phone in san luis potosi already .Have a great trip
