The cd player does not have a radio. You have to run it thru a receiver with speakers to get the sound.

This is a CD player not a tuner (radio). It does a wonderful job successfully playing back commercial, MP3s or iTune CDs without a problem.

It only plays CDs and there is no radio function. This unit requires a receiver to play the CDs as there are no speaker outputs. I paid the open box price listed on bestbuy.com.
