Removable Plates? I'm looking for a waffle iron with removable plates for easy clean up. The idea of just wiping down the surface doesn't do it for me. It is tough to make sure everything is really wiped out. Thanks for your help.

Honestly, I thought it was a pain at first as well. But the pleasure of eating waffles i made at home far out weighed that. If you follow measuring instructions pretty well and get to know your machine you won't have excess spillage or clean up. I have excluded a pic of where the food or batter was an issue for me. But this is also my Oster after normal cooking experience. Just clean it. Somethings come with built in joy.

This one has it. My brother accidentally poured too much and went everywhere, but stayed contained on the plate. The only thing is that it also got on the sides of the plates themselves, but if you wipe it before it cools, it's really easy!

The plates in the CKSTWFBF10W-ECO waffle maker are not removable, nor do we have any waffle maker that has them.
