The 1124 does not have built-in Bluetooth there is a compatible Bluetooth device that can be plugged in in order to enable you to use your wireless products.

No built in bluetooth, does have apple Air Play and with the Android app you can "push" music to the receiver as long as your Android device and the receiver are on the same network. So bottom line, No need for Bluetooth to play music from another device. Can not connect bluetooth headsets or speakers, need adapter for that.

Yes, you need an adapter for bluetooth. I bought a Pioneer AS-BT 200 adapter and it worked perfectly.

This unit does not have built in Bluetooth. That was one of the features I was also looking for, but ultimately decided it wasn't a necessity for me. It claims there is a Pioneer adapter you can purchase, but I saw one from Rocketfish at Best Buy that seemed like it would work just fine, depending on the range you need.
