I had a initial set up learning curve for the Bluetooth, but once I figured it out, it was a snap, and now connects every time, go to your phone settings, select bluetooth, then hold the BT button on your remote until it pairs. Be sure to use the 2.4 wifi, as the 5G would not connect, the 2.4 is flawless every time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need wifi for the remote app which controls additional features of the system. I would suggest unplugging the unit to reset the setup menu to get you synched up properly. If this fails then you should reach out to Geek Squad to confirm or repair your issues or replace the unit. The Pioneer remote opens the menu on the TV where the wifi/Bluetooth settings are. Unplugging the unit from outlet should remedy your issue.
