- Answer The software does not allow you to put captions on the pictures after they are scanned. You will need to use other software to do that. This scanner is very fast and very good at scanning pictures, postcards, business cards and anything that will fit.

- Answer I have all my computer files on an external hard drive. I installed the Plustec software on my Windows desktop computer with no issues regarding my external hard drive. The day after I stalled the software, I scanned more than 500 photos. After every 50 scans, I was prompted to save the photos which I saved to a folder on my external drive. I have had the scanner for a little over a month, and I have had no issues with scanning, saving, or accessing any files.

- Answer Yes you certainly can clean this scanner! The top swings open and enables you to easily access and clean the sensor and rollers. There are videos on the Plustek website and YouTube that show you how to do this.

- Answer If you can remove the pages from the photo album you could scan one page at a time. However, you will get an image that contains all of the photos on that page.
