Dell Inspiron calls for ddr3l. What is the big difference between that and the DDr3. I went to the Flowood store today and the guy that helped me sold me the DDr4 and said it would work.. Would i come out better with speed with the 3 or 3L. null

There is a big difference between the two. The ddr3L has different pin than a ddr4. The ddr3L has a 240 pin connector while the ddr4 has a 288 pin connector You have to find out your laptops pin connector. And buy the correct ram for it

Travis, sorry to say DDR3 and DDR4 are not compatible. The notch is in the wrong spot and the speeds and voltage won't match, take it back.
