My Polk sound bar won’t play sound when I use my Blu-ray player. Also, it sounds crackly when there’s loud sounds such as music, but voices are clear. I used the hdmi arc cable. Does anyone have any recommendations? null

Audio systems tend to start having a crackling sound in the background, as an indication that volume has been increased to a sound level higher than that device can cope with (for the type of music which is playing, such as extreme bass)

I have purchased an audio product in the past (this is not regarding any Polk), found this issue as soon as I 1st turned it on at lower volumes, successfully exchanged it in-store (does not relate to BestBuy. Related to an Australian purchase). The device never had any issue once exchanged, but on saying that, I never tried to strain it’s cabilitiles either
