yes, it does. I have my phone in a case, so the pop socket is attached to the case. I have to remove the case then I can use the wireless charger.

It does, but if you have an easy to remove phone case, you should be able to attach your pop socket to your phone case so that you can remove your phone for charging purposes.

Maybe because your phone won't lay flat on its back. You could just try to balance it on the know or just have to flip the phone face down to charge it.

All you have to do is twist the PopSocket off the back leaving the disc and the phone will wirelessly charge just fine. I do this to mine all the time.

The pop top is removable. You won’t be able to wirelessly charge it with the top on, but once you remove it you’ll be able to wirelessly charge it. It may take you a couple of tries to figure out the right spot to place it so it charges.
