Any idea how long these batteries last with wired headset plugged into the controller? I am currently using rechargeable batteries and they only last 3-4 hours with headset plugged in. The new controllers (Xbox Series X) seem to drain batteries quicker. null

The battery life on this unit I'm getting is 2-3 hrs tops. I bought a unit last year from AMAZON for my xbox one and I probably get 4 times the battery life. I am going to see if I can find the same one for the new xbox x controllers.

Honestly depending on the volume you have your headset on it’s about the same but may be a little better. I’ve never timed it

Im getting only 3-4h of play with wired headset connected to it. Will return this before end of month. I don't think it is headset's fault. I can see battery level drop to 3/4 charge left and out of the sudden i get msg saying that battery are low.
im just surprised since everyone else seem happy with it.
Might need to consider wired Microsoft charge...

I know my boyfriend has played three nights in a row with headphones for at least five hours each night without charging it and the batteries to last long
