We turned it up to the loudest it would allow us to and it was still bot loud enough. You would need to buy one for each rooms you have.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes adjustable, but even at loudest, you have to be standing right over it with no sounds in house to hear it. Poorly made and certainly cannot hear it throughout the house. I presume it is because they want you to buy numerous chimes and put them all over the house. Not very cost effective. There is a page on ring support that identifies if your existing chime is ring compatible (long list of those that are not) "IF" your original chime is compatible then you can wire in your original chime and use it. I would ask that Ring test lab measure the decibels of a typical chime and strive to match that.

I would recommend:

Please try again later.Yes, the volume is adjustable within the ring app. Here’s how, (1) open the ring app. (2) Choose and click on the ring chime you had previously set up. (3) Click on chime tones. Once you open the chime tones you will see a chime volume bar you that can slide left for low and right for louder. (4) slide the bar to the right and then you should be good to go.

If you do not want to trigger your Chime, it's easy to turn off the connection from the Device Settings of either your Ring Video Doorbell or Ring Chime.
