Will the Geek Squad mount this bracket / and TV on a wall (above a fireplace) that has a natural stone finish? This means that the installer will have to drill into the rock to place the anchors for the bracket.

The installers did just that for our TV: drilled through stone to mount. We had to get a mason and an electrician to put an outlet in the stone and conceal the cables - the Geek Squad doesn't do all that. Let them know the situation before they come so that they will bring the right tools - and maybe assign the right person.

Possible, geek squad have a custom mounting service. Go have a site view set up, they will come to your house and see what they can do for you.

I'm not sure of how Geek Squad works or their policies on mounting surfaces. I do have this mount set up on a brick wall over a fireplace that I set up myself. It was easy to set up and works like a charm.

Don't see any reason why not. All that is required is that it be secured to the wood beam.
