Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does! - as long as you have a fairly new HDMI plug. If your TV is older (~2015), you should plug the Roku directly into your stereo and run an ARC HDMI line back to the TV. The ATMOS sound (or similar, depending on source) goes directly from the Roku through the stereo to your speakers. The video goes back through the ARC to the TV. I have received ATMOS sound from Netflix, Max, Paramount, and Disney. Understand that not all programming is ATMOS, but all the available 5-channel sound is still quite good.
