My Roku stick overheats quickly. I know that there are warnings about overheating and I have followed their recommendations, but it is inconvenient to turn it off every hour or so. Is there a model to avoid this? null

If you haven't bought a new one by the time you read this, I suggest you get the newest model with the rechargeable remote. Its lovely. From your previous question sounds like its time for an upgrade.

discuss this with the supplier - I've never had that problem and perhaps your tv and roku stick are not compatible or the the stick may be defective

They get warm to the touch use the extension some of the heat may transfer from the main board.
