Not with Roku. The only fees you pay for is with whatever streaming service you have and use.

For the roku stick itself no monthly fee, but some of the programs within do require a mothly Subscription

No monthly fee for basic roku, which includes a lot of free channels, movies, shows. You pay for subscribed channels, like Netflix or BritBox.
