QuestionI received my refrigerator today, but there is no plastic protective film on the front surface. Is this normal? Did anyone's come with or without a plastic protective film? I don't want to get another one that has been opened before. Thank you!

QuestionDo the random popping/cracking noises lessen over time? So disappointing. The manual says it's normal to hear cracking noises as the internals expand and contract. My 14 year old fridge never did this. :(

QuestionI bought this fridge with an ice maker (only option available and we needed it fast) even though I don't have a water line. I removed the ice maker, but there's an opening with wires and a water line sticking out. Where/how can I buy a cover?

QuestionI bought this refrigerator without an ice maker. The only problem I have is that the freezer is way too cold. I have it at the lowest setting for cold, but it's still too cold. Ice cream is hard as a brick. Has anyone had this problem?

QuestionWhat is the height on the unit?

- Answer There are two heights. The doors and a bump up behind them are 67” from floor to top. The body is 65 1/8” from the floor to top, but there is a device near the back of the top that adds another 5/8” to the overall height to make it 65 3/4” tall.

- Answer try to set freezer down to its lowest freezer setting and set the cooler down too but not to its minimum; and start from there if more adjustments are needed. yeah, it is not fingerprint free surface., i have to wipe them off every now and then.

QuestionIs it possible to remove the ice maker and, if so, is a panel required to patch the area where the ice maker is currently attached to the inside of the freezer?

- Answer Yes, the ice maker can be removed, which then provides more storage area. There is a cap for sale that covers the opening it normally fits under, but unless someone doesn't like to see some exposed tubing, or you're liable to poke it with something, I don't think it's necessary to cover it.
