QuestionI've read the length of the cable connection one speaker to another is 12ft. Is there longer cable available? I have very wide entertainment shelf. Thank you Ilya

- Answer The wire between the two speakers is built into the one speaker and has a plug on the end for the other speaker. There may be a speaker wire built that could extend the wire length but I have not seen or heard of one.

QuestionAre these slanted at the top? Also do they come with a cover up screen for the front, because no picture shows it. Do you think these or the Sony towers are better? Trying to buy as a gift and dont know to much about speakers. The sonys are on sale.
