What does the wifi feature do null

User manual at http://www.samsung.com/us/appliances/refrigerators/RF22K9381SR/AA says you can check status (temperature) and notifications from a smart phone and possibly change setting from the phone.

Allows you to see status and control limited features over the Internet your Samsung's smart home app. It also emails you if door open too long alarm goes off

Stupid stuff like tell you if you left the door open. But it does show self diagnosis information as well, so that is valuable if you have a problem with it. Pretty much worthless IMO.

This product does not have Wi-Fi.
