Thank you for reaching out and we hope you are in good health. We appreciate your interest in Samsung home appliances, specifically the Samsung - 27.4 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator - Stainless steel.

The refrigerator comes with a filter that needs replacing every 6 months (and typically, about 300 gallons (1200L) of water); the filter indicator blinks red for several seconds when you open the door, reminding you that the filter needs to be replaced.

I have  included below the user manual for the refrigerator. Please click on it and turn to page 43.

Yes, the water filter comes with it. Make sure you purchase the water line for it since that is not included
