I want to get a monitor (first time buyer). Potentially gaming on it in the future, but mainly need it for a lot of word document. Ive seen that its text rendering is pretty bad can anyone verify this and if so what would be a better alternative? 4k prefe null

I use it for some productivity and I think it’s perfectly fine.  I know there are apps you can download to make it even better too but I didn’t need anything extra.

This monitor is fantastic for gaming, but for heavy text-based work, QD-OLED panels can sometimes have slight fringing due to the way subpixels are arranged. If crisp text is your priority, a 4K IPS panel like the LG UltraFine 4K or Dell U3223QE would be better options.
