“Electrical cord too short to reach outlet, what can I buy to extended it safely? I recently purchased this machine. When it was delivered the cord would not reach the outlet and the delivery man said to get an extension cord. Everything I read online and in the manual says not to. Can I purchase a longer cord for this machine?”

Yes you can. I would buy an appliance cord like you would for an A/C. Don't go any lower than 16 AWG. 14 would be best and only as long as you need it. Keep the plug ends off the floor should there ever be a flood.
