I will never buy another stove without checking the timer sounds. These things are obnoxious.
Sorry, there was a problem. HOWEVER, it turns ALL sounds off, you cannot pick and choose. So if my phone is handy and my hands are clean while in the kitchen cooking, I may use my phone to turn the sound off to avoid the ridiculously loud and annoying "I've heated to the temp you asked for" song. Truly nails on a chalkboard for me every time. Who designed it this way??

It states that to turn the sound on/off, you must press and hold the clock button for 3 seconds to enter the settings mode. From there, press the number "6" on the keypad to select the "sound" option. Then press "1" to turn the sound on and "2" to turn it off. Then you must press "START/SET" to save the changes. ^Jecca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you turn it off, all other beeps turn off as well, this includes any timers. It makes no sense that it's all or nothing. The oven should still at least have a beep when the oven timer goes off. It's very annoying and i hope Samsung updates their software soon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To turn off the sound on my model, I had to press the clock for 3 seconds, then hit the 5, and then 2 for no. Then Start/Save. All sounds were turned off then
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On my model, hold settings gear for 3 seconds, press 5 for sounds, press 2 for OFF, press START/set to save
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey, I opened the back of this and put a piece of gorilla tape (scotch tape couldn't muffle that shrill sound enough) over the tone speaker to muffle it. Works well for our needs, but definitely took a few screws out to get there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First, You turn on your favorite Charley Crockett tune and then you head to the bathroom to take care of your business and then you come back to realize the cookies are darker than your turds you sent to the septic tank because Samsung engineers forgot to think about a simple beep for "time's up" vs everything is silent, walk away and forget about it. And I had to check the online forums to figure this out and download a user manual, becuse the three printed manuals it came with couldn’t fit language onto a piece of paper describing how to find a timer on my new range. Sound shouldn't have to be an "option" like wiping my you know what after number two.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven’t figured out how to turn it off completely but have discovered by accident that if you open the oven door just as it starts playing it cancels the music. Yes it makes me crazy too especially that it plays not once but three times. But I am happy that when I’m in the kitchen I can stop it by opening the oven door.
