Made Panko breaded chicken cutlets last night. Probably one of the messier items you would ever cook. It was recommended to use a baking sheet pan underneath, which I did. It was able to catch most of the crumbs. I will most likely look for a pan that covers the whole oven rack. Foil sounds like a good alternative, but have never tried it.

I prefer to use foil.. because I don’t like stains on the bottom of the over, to the air frier basket, ( which was included with the range) . I use reusable liner or a foil before I use my oven.
