No, this phone is NOT waterproof. The answer from the Samsung Ambassador is factually incorrect. The spec sheet tells you flat out that the A51 is not waterproof. Multiple reviews have mentioned this as well as pointing out that this model does not have wireless charging. These same reviews point out that this is a great phone for the money though.

An IP rating or Ingress Protection rating is a universally accepted measurement for dust and liquid resistance. Almost all newer Galaxy phones have an IP rating of 68, excluding the Galaxy Fold, Z Flip, and the S10 5G. ^Elizabeth
