Hello, For what I have been using it for, yes it can get quite hot but its because im running some heavy applications such as Fusion 360, Visual Studio, Spotify, and Visual Studio Code all at the same time so unless you are doing what I am doing, it should not heat up a lot. you can see in the image below, its average temperature is 48 degrees C and I am currently running Visual Studio Code, Spotify, Discord, and Visual Studio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The "Pro" models have the higher power chips, which can draw 45 watts or more. The non-Pro Galaxy Book2 360 has the "U" chip, which stands for Ultra-low power, which draws under 15 watts with normal usage. This system has a "Quiet Mode" option, which is my default setting, and I set the processor management to run the CPU at 75%. So in other words, I deliberately throttle it. With the 12th generation i7, it is still blazing fast with the settings, and it runs cool and quiet. I use it all day every day and it never gets hot and I rarely hear any fan noise, which matters to me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only found 2 reviews on this laptop and neither talk about thermal throttling. Please share where you are getting your information. Also, MacBook are the only laptops where a class action lawsuit has been filed for thermal throttling...
