I have the Sprint HTC EVO 4G and the battery life is horrible. Is the battery life on the Galaxy S lll 4G longer and if so, how much longer? null

Heck yeah. It's a 100x better. I had the EVO and it totally sucked when talking about battery life. I can go the day without charging my phone and I feel that I use my phone a lot. With the EVO I had to charge at last 2-3 times a day.

I also used to have the HTC EVO. i then got this phone and the battery life is better by about 4 hours depending on how much you use it.

I dont know anything about the HTC EVO 4G and I'm still learning about my Galaxy S III 4G. I can tell you that if I listen to Pandora all day at work (+/- 8hrs) it uses approximately 1/2 the battery. The salesman told me when I got it that the battery lasts 8hrs on just phone calls. Hope this helps.

Yes the battery is much larger on the SIII than the Evo. So you should have better battery life. I just upgraded from the Evo to the SIII and I can go about a full day on a single charge.with light email, browsing, calls, etc.

My EVO use to last just about one day. My new Galaxy S III gives me about 30 hours of battery life, however I am very conscientious about charging my phone at night when I sleep.

yes it lasts a few hours longer. My wife had the EVO and she had the same problem, but the new EVO 4G LTE does a little better, she just upgraded a couple of days ago
