A:AnswerNo, he asked the right question as ALL VR HMDs generate heat in some way. With the electronics that are in them, specifically the screens they absolutely get "hot". I can't answer about the Odyssey yet but it will definitely generate some level of heat on your face. The other poster clearly hasn't used VR before...
A:AnswerYes, it is VR capable. It is compatible with SteamVR games as well. If you have Oculus games (from owning a Rift) you can also use Revive 2.x beta (a free open-source program from GitHub) to allow you to play almost all Oculus (even Oculus exclusive) games as well. Played Robo Recall with the Odyssey HMD and the images and comfort of the headset were far superior to my Oculus Rift.

A:AnswerSince the new Samsung Odyssey Plus just came out a month or so ago, and many of the comments here are dated almost a year ago, I think this unfortunately deals with the original Odyssey and NOT the Odyssey +.
A:AnswerNo they don’t. You have to get it from eBay or another independent seller willing to ship international. Samsung Odyssey is only licensed disreputed and sold in the US as of right now.
A:Answersup, i got Skybox vr... through steam. it plays mostly everything 3d, sbs, ou, etc.. thats a free one.. and i read about one called MoonVR which is supposedly better but for a couple of bucks. good luck!
A:AnswerHello,
When I tried to purchase this it was also out of stock. I just watched for a few days for it to come back in stock and it did. The computer I picked up in store and the VR just took a while to ship.. It said "More Arriving soon". I would just keep checking back!
A:AnswerBest buy does not export the Samsung, but if you search how to import the Samsung on YouTube on the channel mixed reality TV, he explains how to import it using a third party and you can even get a little discount from his coupon code in the video.

A:AnswerThe Odyssey is PC based and connects via an HDMI cable, as does the Oculus Rift. However with the Oculus if you have the Xbox One streaming app, you can connect the Xbox to the same network as your PC and play Xbox One games on the Oculus Rift.
