A:AnswerHi Sam, Thanks for inquiring about the differences between the HW-Q750C and the HW-Q800C. Both models feature 5.1.2ch sound thanks to the HW-Q800C having side firing speakers built in. You can even enhance that experience further by adding on our Dolby Atmos wireless rears, model SWA-9500S. While they support the same channel configuration, the HW-Q800C comes with a larger, 8" subwoofer, and advanced features like spacefit sound that can tune the audio to your room.
A:AnswerHi there,
The HW-Q800C Soundbar is definitely compatible with the Samsung Q80A TV using either Bluetooth, Digital Optical, Wi-Fi, or HDMI. We do recommend using HDMI as this will offer the best audio and user experience to you.

A:AnswerHi Jimm,
Q-Symphony can be used with HDMI, Digital Optical, or Wi-Fi if your Samsung TV is from 2022 or 2023. We do recommend using HDMI as this will offer you the best available audio and user experience.

A:AnswerIt could be that the firmware file is corrupted. I would suggest downloading it again and installing it via USB. Do not use the smart things app.

A:AnswerHello DRod2k21,
There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar if you have not done so already.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device.
Last, do a hard reset, this will reset the Soundbar back to factory settings as if it was just opened for the first time. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - (Volume UP/DOWN) buttons on the body at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.
If you are still experiencing this issue afterwards, please check with your local Best Buy or Samsung Customer Support.

A:AnswerHi Patrick! Placing the Soundbar in front of the TV and not on it's stand is recommended for stability and better sound dispersion.

A:AnswerHi RKR77,
You will use an HDMI cable to connect the S90C TV and Soundbar using the eARC port for each unit. From here, make sure you set the eARC to "AUTO" within the S90C TV as it does default to "OFF".
Within the TV as well set your Digital Audio Format as Pass-Through.

The HW-Q800C Soundbar features an updated Q-Symphony which will work with select 2023 Samsung TVs AI processor to improve the audio quality overall.
SpaceFit Sound Pro, Adaptive Sound 2.0 and Game Pro 2.0 are new features as well. SpaceFit Sound Pro allows for the entire Soundbar to optimize itself to the size and shape of your room including the bass levels. Adaptive Sound 2.0 offers improved automatic optimization for each object in lower volumes. Game Pro 2.0 allows the Soundbar to optimize the audio based on what style of video game you are playing from First Person Shooters to Racing games.
