Hi Edward! The SWA-9500S is only compatible with the HW-Q700A, HW-Q800A, and HW-Q900A. These speakers will not connect to the HW-A550 soundbar. The correct rear speaker kit designed to pair with the HW-A550 is model SWA-9100S found at the following link from Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-2-0-channel-wireless-rear-speaker-kit-with-surround-sound-black/6456117.p?skuId=6456117 ^Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry for earlier answer. It was incorrect. I mistook your question to your asking if the A550 soundbar is compatible to the "HW-A950A Soundbar" [my mistake]. I got the "A950" confused with what you asked about the "A9500", which is a set of side/rear speakers. Can't give you that answer. The A550 is designated as a 2.1 channel soundbar, so should NOT work with the A9500, which I take it you want to use as a set of side or rear speakers. There is NO physical connection on the A550 for any other speakers, and you would depend on its wireless capabilities of the A550 to add more channels/speakers, which capabilities Samsung does not advertise. So, again, sorry for the incorrect earlier answer, and the "I don't really know, but suspect not" current answer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Eh, dude, they are both sound bars. What do you mean are they compatible with each other? Are you asking if you can connect BOTH to one TV at the same time? Why would you want to? If you mean if they work similarly, yes, they do. If your A550 is working with your TV now, the 950 should work just fine IN PLACE OF IT. Way more than just fine! The 950 will knock your socks off by comparison!
